Sally Amsden is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Salt Lake City, specializing in consultation and psycho educational services for remarried or partnering couples and their children.

With over 30 years experience in the field, Sally and Beth co-created Stepfamily Success, Inc. to meet the increasing need for information for individuals, couples and families who are undergoing change and needing guidance to navigate new partnerships and family systems.  She has worked in several private practice location including: San Francisco, CA.; Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles, CA.

Prior to her professional licensure, Sally started a fully women staffed Family Planning Clinic in Panorama City, CA. with a focus on counseling in women's health and contraception.
In another professional capacity, Sally was the Program Coordinator of the first city-funded battered women's shelter in Los Angeles, CA.
In San Francisco, Sally worked in an experimental program set in the city and county jail system that placed people in more appropriate mental health settings.
